THriving journal series
My inspiration in creating these journals is the sudden spike in depression and anxiety within college students during the last couple of years. The journals are to be sold in groups of three: one journal for anxiety, one for depression, and one for stress. The journals are made from paper embedded with a specific seed form a correlating plant that helps with each emotion. For example, mint seeds are paired with anxiety, the depression journal is paired with jade, and the anxiety journal is paired with lavender seeds. After completely filling out the journal, it is meant to be torn up and planted. Each journal includes an instruction sheet on how to plant the correlating plant. This is a metaphorical situation where the mental healing process is being compared to a physical growing process.
