personal branding

This is an identity system designed for my own personal brand to display myself as a graphic designer and illustrator. The inspiration comes from contour drawings, which is one of my most favorite styles of illustration. My logo is intended to be a representation of myself through aspects of design I enjoy, by the merging of intricate line work and illustration. Within my logo, I include flowers and patterning that roughly symbolize the honey suckle, which is my birth month flower, and is said to symbolize happiness in the Victorian interpretation.
I took my personal branding as a very important aspect for presenting myself as a designer, and I wanted to make sure it embodied how I present my work as a designer as well. I based my personal branding strategy on one thing: which is everything I appreciate as a designer. It has been a long journey through my six years as a graphic designer and illustrator, and I have grown a lot as an individual, and ultimately I wanted to make sure I embodied this.
I wanted to present myself as modern, chic, classy and organized, while also finding an image that would represent my work as a whole. My inspiration for my own branding came from myself. I personally love line work, illustration, and all things beautiful. I based my patterning from my birth month flower, which is a honey suckle. I wanted to also create an image of myself that references a contour line drawing, yet cleaner and with other elements added.
